Kasabangan Falls located in Brgy. Balaquid, Cabucgayan, Biliran. It’s not exactly in Brgy. Balaquid proper, but it is 1.6 km. from Biliran Circumferential Road.

If you are in doubt, you can ask some of the locals there.

Although the road was fully concrete, the terrain was on steep slopes with tight turns. Be a defensive driver, and always use your horn.

Getting to know Kasabangan Falls

Kasabangan Falls is a multitiered waterfall all in one place from the highest point of the mountain.

A Walk to the Waterfall

Before reaching the falls, the excitement starts as we walk on a concrete road to a man-made steel bridge going to the falls.

We passed by an abandoned facility, maybe that is the changing room and comfort room before the typhoon ruined the man-made steel bridge.

As we go deeper, we hear the refreshing sound of the cascading water of Kasabangan Falls.
