New Beach Alert! Discover Almeria's Costa De Batang

There’s a new beach in town and no, this isn’t just another coastline story. Say hello to Costa De Batang Beach, a chill paradise that’s only about two months old as of this writing!

Tucked in a quiet corner between Brgy. Lo-ok and Brgy. Talahid, this seaside sanctuary surprised us big time.

We’ve passed by this place a million times (okay, exaggeration- but you get the point) without even knowing it existed.

That changed when one of my mother’s friends gave us the scoop. So, for our Father’s Day celebration, we took a chance and visited.

And guess what? Best. Decision. Ever! 😍 Even my nieces and nephew couldn’t get enough!

Actually, my dad’s been a fan even before our visit. He knows the owner personally, and that gave him a head start.

Now I get why he’s recommending it- the water here is clearer than your ex’s excuses, and the white sands peek between massive boulders like little secrets waiting to be uncovered.

📍 How to Get to Costa De Batang Beach

Costa De Batang Beach is situated at Sitio Batang, Brgy. Pili, Almeria, Biliran. Getting here is as simple as heading to Naval. But blink and you might miss it!

The entrance isn’t flashy, and it doesn’t scream beach! from the roadside. You’ve got to know what you’re looking for!

Landmarks to look for:

From Poblacion Almeria or anywhere south of Biliran Island: about 100 meters from Doroteo Bridge.
From Talahid, Tabunan, Kawayan, or areas up north: around 400 meters from Talahid Elementary School’s entrance.

Tip: Look for the small sign that says “Costa De Batang Beach.” It’s low-key, but once you see it, you’re close!

This place might be hidden, but it doesn’t stay shy for long. The vibe here is laid-back but full of surprises.

Soon, this place will be jam-packed with guests.

Some swimming areas are naturally shaded by huge trees. No sunburn worries! ☀️🌴
Cottages are spacious and well-equipped with lights and outlets (because phone battery is life, right? RIGHT!).
The views? Chef’s kiss! Blue skies, fluffy clouds, and calm waters all in one panoramic shot.
Mobile data signal is strong. So yes, you can post your beach selfies real time. 📱

🤩 What to Expect at Costa De Batang Beach

Cottages of all sizes (from budget-friendly to barkada bundle).
Main hall with karaoke. But you can also bring your own especially if you’re in the Dakit Cottage.
Protected swimming areas in the main zone.
Sandy and rocky areas. Choose your vibe!
You can rent donut floaters, or bring your own. We brought ours because we actually offer ours for rent too (DM is the key 😉).
