Dalutan is famous for its seclusion, where only a handful of people usually get there, so there’s a good chance you can enjoy the island all by yourself.

How to Reach Dalutan Island
Where is Dalutan Island?
Dalutan Island lies approximately 2 kilometers (1.28 miles) off the coast of Biliran’s mainland.
Its location is nearest to Talahid Beach Resort and Agta Beach Resort, making it an accessible yet tranquil getaway.
Transportation Options
Hiring Pump Boats
You can hire pump boats (lantsa) to Dalutan Island from various points on the mainland. The most convenient and cost-effective departure points are from Talahid Beach Resort and Agta Beach Resort.
Pump boat fares vary, but the most affordable round trip costs Php 1,200 by this boat, as shown in the image below.
I heard they offer the best rates, so look for the white-hulled boat named “Our Lady of Fatima” at Talahid Beach Resort.
Journey to the Island
Our adventure began at Talahid Beach Resort, where we rendezvoused with friends before boarding the pump boat at around 1:39 pm.
We docked at the Dalutan Beach at about 1:54 pm- a 17-minute trip.
The journey was smooth, and the anticipation of exploring the island kept me excited despite our late noon arrival.

Like most tourist attractions in Biliran island, there’s a logbook that visitors need to fill out.
I don’t remember the rent and fees 20 years ago since we were invited by our cousins back then. Besides, beaches and islands weren’t as much of a thing as they are nowadays.
Overnight Stay Options
